We visited Schule Am Reed School in Frankfurt, a sister school of Sakuragaoka High School in Yokohama.
I was pleased to hear from the students that the exchange between the two schools has deepened, such as visiting each other since the sister school tie-up in 2018, and that we plan to resume traffic that had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After that, I visited "Kindergarten in the Forest" in Frankfurt. Under the motto of cultivating the creativity of "natural experience with the five senses" to live, children are kindergartens where they spend outdoors regardless of the weather.
I would like to make use of what I learned this time in efforts to realize "Yokohama, a town that nurtures the next generation of children who have raised children."
