Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Benin visited Yokohama City Council

On June 20, Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister Olerian Abennonsi of the Republic of Benin visited Yokohama City Council and met with Chairman MATSUMOTO Ken, Chairman Yufumi Sato, Chairman of the Yokohama City Council Parliamentary League for Friendship between Japan and Africa.
In 2013, Benin's port city, Kotonou City and Yokohama City made a joint statement of exchange cooperation and are working to promote port technical cooperation and deepen exchanges among younger generations.
