Yokohama City Paramedic Training Center

As a paramedic training center pursuant to Article 34, Item 4 of the Paramedic Act (Act No. 36 of 1991), based on the Paramedic School Training Center Designation Rules (Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health and Welfare Ordinance No. 2 of 1991), It was designated by the Minister of Health and Welfare on August 28, 1991.

The maintenance and operation of the facilities are carried out by the Fire Bureau Emergency Guidance Division.

• In accordance with the enforcement of the Paramedic Act on August 15, 1991, the Yokohama City Paramedic Training Center built a prefabricated school building on the premises of the Nakamuramachi Fire Branch Office in Minami fire department, which was previously located at 4-274Fire Academy, Minami-ku.
• In the old school building, from 1991 to 2004, we conducted a total of 17 paramedics training for 14 years.
• Due to the aging of the old school building, the current school building was completed on December 10, 2004, and education has been conducted at the current school building since April 2005.

In addition to paramedics training education, we provide a wide range of emergency-related education, such as instructional rescuer training education and skill improvement education.
