Yokohama City Food 3R Kira Star Activity Award

Companies or business organizations that have made other model initiatives, such as controlling the generation of food waste, recycling and enlightenment, and have achieved outstanding achievements are commended as the "Yokohama City Food 3R Kira Star Activity Award". The aim is to further reduce food waste by introducing its efforts widely.

We perform commendation for companies which correspond to any of the following as place of main activity in Yokohama-shi and are admitted to be appropriate for commendation. However, this excludes those that have been awarded in the past.
（１） Food waste generated by one's own business activities is controlled by its own method.
（２） Efforts to recycle food waste generated by one's business activities as feed and compost. Or, it has made outstanding achievements in the recycling of food waste and serves as another example.
（３） Promote activities to reduce food loss.
（４） Those who are making advanced and other model initiatives similar to (1) to (3) above.
