Comments from designers

This is a new construction of a community care plaza planned on a site with special location conditions.
About 5m below the ground, there is an underground tunnel on the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway North West Line, and the surrounding area is a farming area where pear farms and fields spread, so it was necessary to consider various things when designing.
First of all, it was necessary to reduce the weight of buildings so as not to load underground tunnels. In addition to reducing the weight of the building itself as a wooden one-story building, the building will be excavated 1.8m under the building to make it an underground pit, so that the weight of the removed soil and the total weight of the building will be combined, and the tunnel will not be loaded. .
As a consideration for the surrounding farmers, the outer wall material is made of flat slate, which is resistant to alkaline pesticides and has less glossary. In the planting plan, we avoided middle and high trees where birds fly, and consisted of lawns and shrubs.
In terms of design, we designed a roof shape that allows the ceiling height to be set according to the characteristics of each room. The ceiling design is designed so that you can enjoy changes by hanging the building on a zigzag and showing structural members such as wooden beams without hiding it on the ceiling.
