About Life Science Initiatives in Yokohama City

Yokohama City has launched the Yokohama Life Innovation Platform (LIP.Yokohama) to create new businesses through support in the fields of health and medical care. On the other hand, in light of the rapid progress of technological innovation in this field and the emergence of advanced social issues across fields, the following revisions were made.

■LIP. Elimination of Yokohama and Future Direction:
As of the end of FY2023, we decided to eliminate LIP. Yokohama and promote further open innovation across fields. Taking advantage of our past achievements, we will work to create innovation in collaboration with companies and universities related to life sciences.
