What is a shopping street vacant store registration?

Stores that can be registered
Stores located in the shopping district area in Yokohama city and can be rented as stores but have not been engaged in commercial activities for more than three months, and meet all of the following conditions.
(1) Stores in buildings facing major roads or passages in the shopping district
※If the business status cannot be confirmed from the main roads or passages of the shopping street, it will not be eligible.
(2) Non-tenant stores of large commercial facilities such as department stores and station buildings

- We will form a consensus to work on vacant store measures as a shopping street, and grasp the necessary industries as a shopping street.
- Make sure that the owner of the vacant store is willing to lend the store.
- If you can confirm that you are willing to lend to the owner, apply in one of the following two ways.
①Enter and attach required items from the shopping street vacant store registration (outside site) of the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System, and apply.
②Write required items on the shopping street vacant store registration application form (first style) and submit it to [email protected]
※After confirming the contents in Yokohama City, register and publish it in the list of registered stores. Please note that registration may not be possible.

If a company that opened a new store using a shopping mall vacant store opening subsidy project at a registered store joins the store association, a 20,000 yen incentive will be issued to the registered store association. .
