Shopping Street Revitalization Promotion Project in New Normal Society

Members engaged in various activities in the shopping streets in Yokohama City gathered to launch a project in FY2021 to consider the issues facing the shopping streets due to the COVID-19 pandemic and new consumption activities conducted by the shopping streets, and to consider measures to revitalize shopping streets in the new normal society. This time, we will announce the results of the examination from the city shopping street who participated in the project as a result presentation.

Members who are engaged in various activities in the shopping district gathered to launch a project in FY2021 to consider the issues facing the shopping district due to the COVID-19 pandemic and new consumption activities conducted by the shopping district, and to consider shopping district revitalization measures in the new normal society. In the project, we conducted five review meetings and inspected prior cases of shopping streets outside the city, and examined ideas for sustaining future shopping street organizations and activities.
