Aoba Ward boasts one of the longest lifespans in Japan, but it is important to extend healthy life expectancy as well as physical health. To further promote dementia measures, we concluded an agreement in April to promote joint research between Aoba Ward and Toin Gakuen (Toin University of Yokohama), which has a proven track record in conducting research on social participation of elderly people.
Based on this agreement, a questionnaire survey on the risk of dementia in both mental and physical aspects will be conducted by mail and opposite sides during FY2022.
