Asahi Ward has implemented the Asahi Gem Project, which aims to promote commerce and improve the level of attachment to Asahi Ward through the recognition of recommended foods and foods in the ward and related to Asahi Ward.
The Shigetada Hatakeyama brand has been certified as a new product named after Shigetada Hatakeyama, a warlord who is related to Asahi Ward and is currently being broadcast in Taiga drama series, "The Thirteen of the Kamakura-dono," and now has 32 products.
