The new municipal hospital will serve as a base for health crisis management, including infectious diseases and disasters, and will also strengthen medical functions in COVID-19 infection.
In addition, we will further enhance cooperation with local medical institutions and nursing care and welfare facilities. The building is designed based on the concept of "park hospital" and emphasizes integration with Mitsuzawa Park.
After the relocation, the current municipal hospital will promptly proceed with preparations and use it as an accommodation facility for positive patients (asymptomatic and mildly ill) in COVID-19 infection.
