As the frequency and intensity of heavy rains have increased due to recent climate change, and the risk of natural disasters has increased further, the “Basin Flood Control Project” was formulated in FY2021. In this “Basin Flood Control Project”, we aim to further improve flood control safety by raising the level of river maintenance in the city from about 50 mm to about 60 mm because we are positioning to promote 60 mm correspondence.
