In Yokohama City, hospitals that work on enhancing breast cancer treatment and patient support through team medical care in multiple occupations have been designated as "Yokohama City Breast Cancer Cooperation Hospital" since 2017. "Yokohama-shi breast cancer cooperation hospital" works on enhancement of breast cancer medical treatment system in the hospital and works with Yokohama-shi to develop human resources of nurses in city area and enlighten breast cancer measures for citizens. Saiseikai Yokohamashi Nanbu Hospital (Konan Ward) and Showa University Northern Yokohama Hospital (Tsuzuki Ward ) have been newly designated as Yokohama Breast Cancer Hospital.
