From June 13 (Tuesday) to June 25 (Sunday), 2023, Mayor Takeharu Yamanaka will encourage players and coaches living in Yokohama City who will be dispatched as a Japanese team to the "2023 Special Olympics Summer World Games Berlin" to be held in Berlin, Germany.
At the encouragement party, players and coaches will talk about their aspirations for the tournament, and a bouquet will be presented from Yokohama City.
