[Press Release] "United Nations WFP <Received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2020>-A world free of hunger and peace-" Yokohama International Peace Lecture will be held online!

　Yokohama City has been promoting initiatives for world peace and prosperity through intercity cooperation and international cooperation. In June 2018, the "Ordinance on Promotion of International Peace in Yokohama City" was enacted, and based on this philosophy, we are working on peace enlightenment for citizens.
　Naoe Yakiya, the representative of the Japan Office of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), who was awarded the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize for his activities to solve hunger, will talk about the current situation of hunger in the world and the United Nations WFP. He will talk about his activities and efforts to solve issues that anyone can do.
