In Yokohama-shi, we carry out approach to promote reading activity to maintain environment that each citizen can get close to reading from infancy to old age and can enjoy.
In cooperation with private businesses, etc., we hold a city-wide reading event "Yokohama City Reading Activity Promotion Network Forum" as an opportunity for those who are not familiar with reading to know the joy of reading, This year, we will implement a variety of programs under the theme of "family".
