June 25, 2020 is May 5 in old calendar, China's Dango-bushi. In connection with the Dango Festival, the Yokohama-Chinatown Development Association Cooperative (Chairman Nobumasa Takahashi) presented a voucher for 6th grade elementary school students in Naka Ward to eat Chimaki from Yokohama-Chinatown. We hope for healthy growth for children who spent Children's Day under the influence of COVID-19 infection.
Through seasonal Chimaki, it will be an opportunity for children to enjoy the history and traditional culture of China while having fun and deepen their understanding of multicultural coexistence.
