Kohoku fire deparment holds a fire prevention poster contest every year to promote awareness of children's philosophy of fire prevention.
This year, the award will be given to nine winners selected as a result of strict screening out of a total of 1,211 entries, the highest ever.
The best-selected works will be distributed to elementary schools, nursery schools, kindergartens, Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, stations and commercial facilities in Kohoku Ward as fire prevention posters.
