Following the occurrence of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, related executives gathered today, led by the mayor, to launch the Yokohama City affected areas Support Team.
In the future, we instructed each department to take necessary preparations to provide prompt support to the affected areas.
While checking the situation in affected areas, we will actively provide necessary support such as providing supplies.
1 Status of Support at the moment
(1) Dispatched two water vehicle units to Takaoka City or Himi City, Toyama Prefecture (scheduled for January 3)
(2) Preparation for dispatch of air fire brigade as emergency fire brigade
※The details of each dispatch will be announced separately by the competent bureau.
(3) Installation of donation boxes
A. Installation period
From Thursday, January 4, 2024 to the time being
B. Installation location
1st floor of City Hall
※We will expand the setting of the ward sequentially.
