Survey Report

Purpose

In Yokohama City, we are promoting initiatives so that the elderly can play an active role in the community and workplace. Therefore, we conducted a questionnaire survey to listen to the awareness of citizens and the ideas of companies, and to use them as basic data for promoting future measures.
I would like to inform you that the results have been finalized.

Overview of the Survey

Survey period: From October 1 to October 21, 2015
Survey method: Mail distribution mail collection

(1)Awareness survey to reach a healthy and shining elderly age
Survey target: 3,000 people aged 55 to 65 living in Yokohama City (randomly extracted from the Basic Resident Register)
Survey items: Current work styles, work styles desired in the future, local activities and volunteers, etc.
Result of collection: 1,449 votes (collection rate: 48.3%)

(2)Corporate Survey on the Use of Seniors
Survey target: 1,000 companies in Yokohama City (randomly extracted from information owned by the city)
Survey items: Status of employment of the elderly and future trends, expectations and issues for employment of the elderly, etc.
Result of collection: 397 votes (collection rate: 39.7%)
