What is the Public Relations Division Photo Material?

Overview

As a department in charge of public relations in Yokohama City, the Public Relations Division, which has published public relations magazines, has photographed various scenes such as city events and activities. These photos have not only been published in public relations magazines, but also have been used in publications of various departments.
These photographs, such as about 9,800 negative films, were transferred from the Public Relations Division to the City History Archives in March 2008, and are being organized. In addition, more than 11,000 data selected and digitized by the Public Relations Division from these photos is provided to newspapers, magazines, television programs, etc. in addition to the business of this archive.

Legend

  1. A list of photos that can be provided externally, mainly in the Showa period.
  2. Each horizontal and vertical length is arranged in chronological order, and each photo has a photo number, age, and caption.
  3. The captions generally use catalog data created by the Public Relations Division.

Side-long photo [From 1956 to 1988]

Of the photo data transferred from the Public Relations Division, 5,649 horizontally long photos are listed, except for photos that cannot be provided externally.

Vertical photo [from 1956 to 1992]

Of the photo data transferred from the Public Relations Division, 1,001 portrait photos are listed, except for photos that cannot be provided externally.
