2013 Housing and Land Statistics Survey

The Housing and Land Statistics Survey (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Statistics Bureau, Designated Statistics No. 14) grasps the actual situation of housing and households in Japan and clarifies the current situation and trends. This is a survey aimed at obtaining basic data for measures.
This survey expanded the contents of the housing statistics survey, which has been conducted every five years since 1948, and changed the name of the survey.This survey was conducted as of October 1 as the 14th it was done.
This survey is a sample survey, and when extracting specimens, the 2010 National Census Survey Area is the primary extraction unit, and the dwelling units in the survey unit area based on the extracted specimen survey area are the second extraction unit. Was performed by the stratification two-stage extraction method.
