I'm in trouble because some people are burning things outside. Also, can garbage be burned in the incinerator?

Outdoor burning is prohibited, with some exceptions, by the Ordinance on the conservation, etc. of Yokohama City Living Environment and the Waste Disposal and Public Cleansing Law.
If you have any problems with outdoor combustion, please contact Atmosphere and Sound Environment Division.
In addition, in order to control the generation of dioxins due to incineration, waste treatment standards have been strengthened, and simple incinerators that do not conform to the standards can no longer be used.
Please contact Atmosphere and Sound Environment Division for details on standards for waste incinerators.
