What kind of system is social movement insurance?

This is a system in which Yokohama City pays insurance premiums in advance and contracts with insurance companies so that volunteer activities can carry out activities with peace of mind.
If you can confirm that you meet the requirements for Yokohama City Social Activities Insurance, you will be paid.
Target Activities/Activities
It is exclusively for those who are engaged in volunteer activities that meet all of the following four requirements in the city.
①Activities carried out by voluntary groups and individuals, as well as by Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, a local community organization.
②Non-payment activities (excluding the payment of actual expenses such as transportation expenses)
③Activities carried out continuously and systematically
④Activities with public interest (contributing to others and society)
(※) The scope of insurance includes the day of the activity, preparation activities, and round-trip routes to the place of activity.
Procedures
No prior subscription, registration procedures and insurance premiums are required.
In the event of an accident, please contact the General Affairs Division of each ward and submit an accident report and other required documents.

Details of compensation
(1) Liability Accidents
Accidents in which negligence of volunteer actors during volunteer activities cause damage to the lives, bodies, or property of other volunteer actors or third parties, are sought damages from victims, and are liable for legal damages.
(2) Injury accident
Accidents in which volunteer volunteers were killed or injured due to sudden and accidental outpatient accidents that occurred during volunteer activities
Major examples not covered
1 Accidents of participants in disaster drill, events and entertainment, and participants in consultation (*)
2 Activities under school management
3 Recreational activities and mutual-aid activities aimed at fellowship
4 Activities while performing duties or engaging in occupations
5 Activities related to politics, religion, and profit
(※) Even volunteer activists are not eligible for accidents during the competition.
