(1) In Yokohama City, 460 municipal elementary and junior high schools have been designated as evacuation shelter (designated evacuation center) so that they can store water, food and daily necessities and live an evacuation life. Please use the "Disaster Prevention Map" at your ward office General Affairs Division. The website of Yokohama also introduces evacuation shelter (designated evacuation center).

(2) In addition, in the event of a large-scale fire spread, 112 locations in the city have been designated as evacuation area as evacuation sites to protect citizens' lives and bodies from radiant heat and smoke.
