About PFI operator of Yokohama Culture Gymnasium redevelopment project

Since Yokohama City has concluded a business contract for the Yokohama Culture Gymnasium Redevelopment Project, Article 15, Paragraph 3 of the Act on Promotion of Maintenance of Public Facilities by Utilizing Private Funds (Act No. 117 of 1999) Based on the provisions of the above, we will announce the details of the business contract as follows.

The Yokohama Culture Gymnasium Redevelopment Project was conducted on March 21, 2017 using the general competitive bidding method.
When we announced the tender and bid on July 18, 2017, there was a bid from one group.

The Yokohama Citizens' Fund Utilization Business Review Committee, which is made up of outside experts, examines the proposals and examines them.
On September 1, 2017, the chairman of the committee reported to the Mayor of Yokohama that the best proposer was selected.
Therefore, as specified in the tender notice of this project, the best proposer will be determined as the successful bidder.
