Team orange

Team Orange in Yokohama City is based on the voices of people with dementia and their families, such as the wishes, wishes, and problems of people with dementia and their families, and is working on realizing and solving them. This is an activity of "personal support" promoted by companies and related organizations in cooperation.

Activities that understand the philosophy of Team Orange and meet all three basics of Yokohama City Team Orange are called "Team Orange".

① Understand the wishes and problems of people with dementia and their families and can continue to support them.
② People with dementia and their families are also active as members of the community.
③ People with dementia are working on activities to create a livable city.

In Motoichi, we aim to be a community development where people with dementia can live with peace of mind. Areas where people with dementia can live on their own with peace of mind are as follows from the viewpoint of people with dementia and their families.

1. People around me understand dementia correctly. As before you have dementia, you can participate in what you want to do, such as hobbies and club activities, while receiving support where you can't do it, making use of your abilities.
2. There are friends who can consult with you and your family, so you can consult about trivial problems and get information. You can also receive professional support as needed.
