Since 2005, Yokohama City has decided to promote drastic management reforms by applying all of the Local Public Enterprise Law to the hospital business that operates three municipal hospitals, and is preparing. We checked the implementation status of Yokohama city minato Red Cross Hospital's designated management work in fiscal 2005 based on business reports submitted by designated managers and policy medical grant results reports. Here, we publish the inspection results of designated management work.

On February 25, 2004, a decision was made in Yokohama City Council regarding the designation of the designated manager of Yokohama Port Hospital, and it was decided that the Japanese Red Cross Society would become the designated manager. In the future, the Japanese Red Cross Society will play a central role in preparing for the opening of a new hospital. Here, we publish about approach of Yokohama-shi about opening of hospital.

In having designated manager (2 Clause 3 of Local Government Act Article 244) perform management of new port hospital, city pushes forward office work about designation of designated manager. In order to have the designated manager (Local Government Act Article 244-2, Paragraph 3) manage the new port hospital, in order to determine the designated procedures for the designated manager, the "Hospital Ordinance managed by the Yokohama City Hospital Business" Some have been revised.
