Complaint Casebook Diarrhea caused by prunes
Last updated on February 26, 2025.
1.Overview
I had diarrhea when I ate a prune.
2.Commentary
Prunes contain abundant vitamins and minerals in a well-balanced manner. The main physiological effects of prunes are used to prevent and treat constipation because they contain substances that stimulate the intestines and have a depressive effect.
In this way, it is known that eating more than a certain amount of prunes causes diarrhea, but the standard of intake cannot be determined because it depends on differences in constitution and familiarity.
