Beware of e-cigarettes containing nicotine!
- On August 18, 2010, the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan announced that "nicotine was detected in some e-cigarettes sold in Japan." Nicotine is a pharmaceutical ingredient that can cause side effects such as nausea and vomiting if used for a long time or repeatedly. Please be careful.
- In a document released by the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan, 11 brands of e-cigarettes reported to contain nicotine in cartridges were analyzed whether nicotine was contained in mistified steam, and all 11 brands nicotine was detected in all products.
- Cartridges containing nicotine will be the quality and efficacy of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc., unless it is recognized that these products are used exclusively for coloring, incense sticking, etc. The device that mist nicotine in cartridges is a medical device under the Pharmaceutical Machinery Act. If you have already purchased the product, please refrain from using it to avoid oral intake of nicotine.
- No e-cigarettes containing nicotine have been approved by the Pharmaceutical Machinery Law in Japan so far, and if the product falls under pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, the act of selling such products is unlicensed and unlicensed drugs, etc. Violates the Pharmaceutical Machinery Law as sales.
