Traffic safety on school roads

 In June 2021, a truck crashed into a row of elementary school student in Yachimata City, Chiba Prefecture, where five people were killed or injured. In response to this accident, the City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat Secretariat and related organizations have been conducting inspections and countermeasures on school routes. Here, we show the number of points that need to be taken during the inspections conducted in FY2021 and the number of points where measures were taken by the end of December 2022.
