In response to a consultation from the Board of Education, the Yokohama City School Scale Optimization Exploratory Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) consists of areas related to Higashitotsuka Elementary School, PTA representatives, school officials, etc. We have set up a “Large School Over Large School Countermeasures Study Group” (hereinafter referred to as “subcommittee”) and have been examining overscale measures and school areas.
The subcommittee held a total of four times over the eight months from May 31, 2023 to January 15, 2024, and summarized the results of the examination in a written opinion. We discussed in committee and reported to Board of Education according to statement of position that had you put together in sectional meeting. .
