With regard to low-income single-parent households who are responsible for child-rearing and work alone, as the impact of COVID-19 is prolonged, prices such as food expenses face soaring, and particularly large difficulties due to an increase in burden on child-rearing and a decrease in income, etc. We will provide special benefits to support these households in light of the fact that they have occurred in mind and body.

Eligible recipients
Single-parent households living in the city who are eligible for Child Raising Allowance and fall under any of the following 1 to 3
①Child Raising Allowance Recipients
Those who have been paid by Child Raising Allowance for April 2022
②Recipients of Public Pension Benefits
Those who have not received Child Raising Allowance's payment due to the public pension, etc. and are within the standard amount for the payment of this benefit separately determined by income for 2020
②-1. Child Raising Allowance has been certified and eligible for April 2022, but the payment of benefits has been suspended due to the receipt of public pension, etc.
②-2 If you have not filed an application for Child Raising Allowance, but if it is approved, the payment of benefits will be suspended due to the receipt of a public pension, etc.
③A sudden change in household income
Those who have previously exceeded the Child Raising Allowance's income limit and whose income has decreased due to the influence of COVID-19 infection and whose estimated income for one year after the sudden change is within the standard amount pertaining to the payment of this benefit specified separately.
③-1 Those who have been certified by Child Raising Allowance but have been fully suspended due to exceeding the income limit.
③-2 Those who have not applied for Child Raising Allowance but have exceeded the Child Raising Allowance's income limit and are expected to be fully suspended if they are certified.
Or those who are deemed to be in the same circumstances as (1) Child Raising Allowance recipients and (2) public pensioners

Even if you are eligible for Child Raising Allowance after May 2022 (including suspension of all payments), you may be eligible for payment if your household income suddenly changes due to the influence of COVID-19 infection and your estimated income for one year after the sudden change is less than the limit.

(1)Change in the transfer account for benefits
Only those who cannot transfer money to a bank account registered in Child Raising Allowance will be required to submit an account change. (2)Those who want to receive benefits in cash
If you do not have a bank account or cannot use your bank account due to unavoidable reasons (you can not transfer from Yokohama City), please offer cash receipt. If you would like to receive cash, please contact the call center separately.

Applicable when a legal father (father / adoptive father) dies, or when a legal mother (real mother / adoptive mother) dies. 4 elementary school student whose father or mother is in a state of disability
Applicable when the father or mother is in a state of disability as specified by a Cabinet Order.

5 The life and death of father or mother is not clear elementary school student

According to the Civil Code, in the case of special disappearance (disappearance), life and death is not clear for one year after the crisis has passed, and in the case of ordinary disappearance such as runaway, life and death is not clear for seven years. This applies when the father or mother does not live together and has completely abandoned custody obligations.

→In addition to the application form, it is necessary to submit a “Request for Abandonment by Spouses”.

*If you are separated for a specific or unspecified period of time, employment, business, medical treatment due to migrant work, hospitalization, etc., but are scheduled to return after achieving the purpose, it does not fall under abandonment.
*If you receive remittances, regular visits, letters that care about the safety of elementary school student, telephone calls, etc., you will be in custody, and if you are notified about the safety of your child, you will not be abandoned.
*Even if the father or mother's whereabouts are known, the father or mother's custody will and custody ability will be objective due to the father or mother's or mother's sake turbulence, violence, women (male) relations, criminal acts, salary debt, gambling madness, etc. If the applicant is not objectively recognized and the applicant is willing to divorce, it will be judged to be abandoned.
