Postcard "Yokohama's Memory"

We will use Yokohama materials that Municipal Central Library has accumulated as a Yokohama's Memory instrument to highlight changes and growth processes in Yokohama.

Focusing on Hon-cho Dori Avenue, Yoshidabashi Bridge, Noge Iseyama, and Kaigan Dori, ukiyo-e in the late Tokugawa shogunate and early Meiji eras and Yokohama postcards in the late Meiji era and early Taisho.

damage situation, which was caused by the Great Kanto Earthquake on September 1, 1923, and the reconstruction of Yokohama in the early Showa era, will be introduced using postcards, photographs, and books.
