The Kanagawa Ward Photo Album is a digitized version of photographs of landscapes and regions in Kanagawa Ward.

Photographs are valuable materials that record the history of the region. Now, the photos taken casually will become historical materials 10 or 20 years later. It is also an important role of libraries to collect and preserve them without dissipating them.

●How to view a list of regional photos

If you select "View a list of regional photos", you can see the list page of photos.
It is divided by area, so please click the title of the photo you want to see.

●How to find it from a map

Select "Select Photos from Areas" and click the name of the area under the map.
Photos of the selected area will be displayed in a list.
You can see the image by clicking the title of the photo.

●How to search by street name

If you select "Select photos from street names", you can see the street name index.
Click the name of the town you want to see, and a list of photos of the area containing the selected town name will be displayed.
Also, depending on the name of the town, there may be no photos.
You can see the image by clicking the title of the photo.

"Kana Digi" specifies secondary use so that you can actively use photos.
When using photos in this database, please check the "Download secondary use" column of each photo.

When posting, broadcasting or displaying photos, a publication request is required. It may take a few days to respond to approval for use, so please apply in advance.
