Konan Library is looking for photos that will help you know the area.

Do you have any photos of old Konan Ward scenery on your album?
Please let the Konan Library know if you have any photos showing the buildings, streets, and life at that time, such as before and after regional development or before the housing complex was established.
The photos we are looking for are from Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras to around 1998, showing changes in the cityscape of Konan Ward, the status of regional development, and changes in civil life.

  • The photos provided will be published on the Yokohama's Memory website.
  • It will also be used for panel exhibitions in the library.
  • The photo will be returned after the data is taken in.
  • If you donate, it will be saved at the library.

At Konan Library, the courtyard was opened to create a “resting place”.

I put benches, chairs and tables. You can eat and drink at the "resting place".
Available time is from 9:30 to 16:30.
It is not available when the library is closed.
In addition, please take your trash home. No smoking.
We look forward to your continued support.
