Talk party

Sakae Library holds various talks so that children can get acquainted with books. Please come by all means!
Please refer to the "Yokohama City Library Library Event" for other events at Sakae Library and talks at other libraries.

We have a talk session with a librarian at the library.

Target from about 4 years old

Note 1： On August 6th, "A lot of living things talk party".

Librarians of the library hold talks for small children who can participate as parents and children.
We perform reading of children's songs and picture books. Please come with your child!

Target Children from 4 months to 3 years of age and their parents
Capacity 5 pairs (first come, first served)

This is a performance of picture story show by volunteer group "picture story show Ichiza Sakae".

Target From about 3 years old to adult

It is a story-telling party by the volunteer group "Kanagawa Children's Plaza".
We will read picture books and storytelling.

Note 2: April 26 is a spring Hamako talk meeting. This is a special talk session commemorating "Children's Reading Day".

We hold a talk party during the waiting time for a 4-month-old child medical checkup.
