Dr. Miru's Monument

Mr. Miru was born in Ikebe-mura, Tsuzuki-gun in 1860, and after serving as the principal of Yoshida Elementary School, opened Mitome Gijuku in Aioi-cho, Yokohama. This monument was built in honor of Mr. Miru who was involved in lifelong education.
