Road lighting

Road lighting creates a good visual environment for pedestrians and drivers and ensures safety in order to accurately grasp the road conditions and traffic conditions at night, and is mainly installed on bus routes and traffic danger spot (intersections, curves, etc.).
Similar lights include security lights, which are for anti-crime program purposes and are managed by local Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations in Yokohama. LED security lights are installed and managed by Civic Affairs Bureau.

Road lights are managed by Public Works Office in each district. If you find any non-lighting or damage, please let us know the contact information of the sticker affixed to the lighting column.
