Escalator "Let's stop without walking" campaign
In collaboration with 57 railway companies nationwide, 5 organizations, airport facilities, commercial facilities, and local governments, we will conduct a campaign calling for safe use of escalators. (July 22 to August 31, 2016)
Walking the escalator not only poses a risk of falling, but also the habit of opening one side for walking can lead to dangerous accidents for customers who can only use either side of the left or right handrails. In order to ensure that all customers can use the escalator with peace of mind, we will make calls such as "Let's stop without walking" and "Let's grab it on the handrail".
