In Yokohama City, the city subsidizes a part of the construction cost when local people perform pavement repair work on private roads that are passed by many citizens and used in the same way as public roads. We carry out two projects, the "private road maintenance subsidy program" and the "private road maintenance system" where the city performs pavement work on behalf of local people.
