A
Drainage from the toilet is the most burdensome.
Of the pollutants' load sources, about 30% of BOD, about 70% of nitrogen, and about 60% of phosphorus are derived from toilet drainage.
The rest is derived from drainage from kitchens, laundry, baths, etc.
