Rainwater Storage Facility in Yokohama City
In order to protect the city from heavy rains, Yokohama City is developing sewer pipes and pumping stations, as well as river improvement facilities (rainwater storage pipes, rainwater regulating ponds, river Yusuichi, etc.) to reduce the flood damage in the event of heavy rains such as typhoons.
