Yokohama Green Up Action (Citizen Promotion Council Public Relations Magazine)

It is a public relations magazine where citizen committee of the citizen promotion meeting reports the spot of green up from the citizen's point of view and tells the charm of green that seems to be "let's go" or "let's find" to the spot.
In fiscal 2019, we renewed "Midori Up Q" to "Yokohama Green Up Action" based on the idea that "readers will want to take green actions (actions and activities)".

Citizen information center, each ward office, public hall, station PR box, etc.

We look forward to your impressions of reading a public relations magazine and requests for special themes that you want to take up. I will use it as a reference for future publications.

From Green Up to Action
What kind of green initiatives have you been doing in Yokohama so far? And what is the future of green in Yokohama? We will introduce the past and future prospects of the Green Up Plan along with the "Action Menu" recommended for those who want to start green activities in the future.

Know, learn, and experience forests
"What kind of place is the forest of Yokohama?" "What do you do to create a forest?" In response to such voices, we will introduce the “Introductory Forest Creation Volunteer Course” with the voices of participants.

Fostering leaders who protect "agriculture" and "green" in Yokohama
If you are interested in helping with farming or volunteer activities such as parks and green spaces, this is a must-see. We introduce "Citizens' Agriculture University Lecture" to nurture "green" assistants who can play an active part in the area.

Flower watches that have been passed down from time to time
There is a flower clock in Canal Park in the Minato Mirai district. How are colorful flowers grown? Introducing the history and local activities that have continued since the opening of the Kokukoku Expo Y150.

It's not just a park to play! Why don't you start making vegetables?
"Okazucho Fureai Park" is one of the parks with farms. We introduce local exchange through the making of vegetables that can be enjoyed by adults and children. Why don't you look for a park with a farm near you?

I don't think I've heard somewhere. In this issue, we will introduce citizens' forests in a simple and compact manner. Why don't you go to find a way to enjoy the forest with Action 4 in your hand?

"Horticultural Volunteer Mirai" who has been active at "Shinyoshida Community Care Plaza" for 18 years. Why don't you visit such a wonderful garden full of smiles, enjoying the making of adult friends through flower care?

Feel the "Agriculture" of Yokohama with the "Aguri Tour"!
Visit the ranch for potato digging experience, shop at the direct sales shop! There are plenty of events where you can taste agriculture, and there are many participants with parents and children. A student from Ferris Jogakuin University participated in the operation of this project. It's reliable, isn't it?
　

From a mountain of garbage to a treasure mountain?
The Kamoi Hara Citizen's Forest has been revived from a forest where illegally dumped garbage was piled up to a forest loved by the local community and full of smiles. Deliver that charm!
