What is the Yokohama Green Up Plan [2019-2023]?
Although Yokohama City is a big city, it has a variety of greenery, such as many forests and farmland, in a place close to civil life. In order to pass on these greenery to the next generation, as a priority initiative of the "Yokohama City Water and Green Basic Plan", the "Yokohama Green Tax" was used as a part of its financial resources from FY2009 (Heisei 21). We are promoting the "Yokohama Green Up Plan".
Green conservation and creation must be carried out continuously over a long period of time. Based on the results and issues of past efforts and the results of soliciting opinions on the draft of this plan, we have formulated the "Yokohama Green Up Plan [2019-2023]", which will be focused on after FY2019 (Heisei 31).
