Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Council

The Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Council is a regional council based on Article 40, Paragraph 1 of the Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Act.
As one of the main actors in the realization of a sustainable low-carbon city and an environmental future city, we are engaged in various educational activities for citizens and businesses, such as energy saving and renewable energy, that lead to the practice of a decarbonized lifestyle.

In 2018, we received the Minister of the Environment's Commendation for Global Warming Prevention Activities for many years, including practical activities that contribute to the prevention of global warming and awareness raising.
