Idea Kitchen 2022 in Yokohama

For the realization of Zero Carbon Yokohama, Yokohama City and a group of students from the city, "Team ZERO YOUTH Yokohama," will cooperate, and citizens will feel closer to decarbonization from the perspective of "food" that is indispensable for daily life. This is an event that recruited ideas for cooking menus that are conscious of CO2 emission reduction in order to have them feel and lead to further actions.
On Saturday, March 26, at the Muji Konandai Bars store, which has concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Motoichi, we announced three excellent menus selected as particularly excellent ideas from the application menu, and Yokohama Greenpeace Co., Ltd. Under the supervision of Mr. Naoki Tsubaki, the representative director of Yokohama Greenpeace, we reproduced the excellent menu and conducted a commentary talk show.
The event was held as part of EARTH HOUR 2022 in Yokohama, the world's largest environmental action to be implemented on the same day in collaboration with WWF.

Examination method: The judging team from Yokohama City, Team ZERO YOUTH Yokohama, etc. will judge based on the following evaluation points.
Major evaluation points: Use of Yokohama vegetables, energy-saving cooking methods, selection of ingredients that are conscious of food mileage, serving as menus, Aya (color), cooking methods, etc.
※Additional points are added to the use of ingredients and cooking methods that are expected to reduce CO2 emissions.
