　The Yokohama City Urban Beauty Council is an affiliated organization of Yokohama City established in 1965 based on the Yokohama City Urban Beauty Council Ordinance.
　For the purpose of improving the aesthetics of the city and creating attractive cityscapes, in addition to the design of buildings and towns, landscape rules based on the "Landscape Law" and the "Ordinance on Creation of Attractive Urban Landscapes in Yokohama City" We are discussing things.
　We raise two citizen committees this time to reflect opinion of one having thought to improve Yokohama as citizen's representative.

1 Application conditions
　Those who meet all of the following conditions. (Excluding Yokohama City staff)
(1) Those who live, work or attend school in Yokohama City
(2) Those who are over 20 years old as of August 1, 2025
(3) Those who have an interest in landscape town development through their own experiences, etc., and want to improve Yokohama as a representative of citizens

4 How to apply
　Please fill out the application form with required items and an essay (about 800 characters: The theme "Yokohama-style that you think is important and attractive scenery") and submit it to the address below by mail or e-mail. ※You cannot apply by fax.

March 4, Reiwa 7 (Tuesday)-April 4, Reiwa 7 (Friday) [must arrive]

6 Selection
　Selection committee composed of Motoichi staff selects. (Thu) (planned) will be interviewed on May 14 (Wed) and 15, 2025 for those who have passed the screening process.
　In addition, the results of the primary selection will be notified by mail or e-mail to all applicants. (early May)

7 Points of Selection

• The enthusiasm and aggressiveness of landscape town development, the degree of understanding of the purpose of setting up the Yokohama City Urban Beauty Council
• Is it possible to have an understanding of landscape town development and a feasibility discussion?
• Understanding the positions and ideas of various actors　
• Perspective as a representative of citizens
• Logical and positive attitude and expressiveness　　　　　　　　　　　Etc.

9 Others
　The council is scheduled to be held twice a year (irregular). In addition, since each subcommittee is held multiple times, a total of about 4 to 7 times a year is held. If you attend the council (including subcommittees), you will pay the amount set by Yokohama City.
