Yokohama Underground Shopping Center Disaster Prevention Promotion Project

In the underground shopping mall in Yokohama City, we will support some of the costs required for disaster prevention measures such as seismic retrofitting of underground shopping malls and facility maintenance in order to secure a safe evacuation space in the event of a large-scale earthquake or inundation.

Note:
With the revision of the system in December 2016, in order to reduce the flood damage​ and enable early restoration of public passages after a disaster, we added flood countermeasures such as renovation of facilities in underground shopping malls.
