Kannai Ekimae District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project

Purpose of Business

 In the Kannai station area, we are promoting new town development with the theme of "international industry-academia collaboration" and "tourism and attracting customers".
 Through the redevelopment project, we will develop infrastructure such as traffic plazas where highway buses and sightseeing buses can enter, pedestrian-only roads in front of the station, as well as business functions such as global corporate headquarters and R&D bases, as well as high-standard rental housing and commercial facilities that are close to work and housing.

About general inspection of business plan pertaining to establishment of urban redevelopment association (Kannai station square port town district)

 Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Urban Redevelopment Law, with each part of Minatomachi 2-chome, Minatomachi 3-chome, Masagocho 3-chome, Onoecho 2-chome and Onoecho 3-chome as enforcement districts As there was application for authorization about establishment of city redevelopment association to prescribe, we inspect the business plan as follows based on rule of Article 16 Clause 1 of the law.
 In addition, person having right about land related to the business concerned or article fixed in the land can submit statement of position to the mayor of Yokohama when there is opinion about this business plan.
